City Immune to Housing Crisis
Manhattan doesn’t seem to be affected by the downturn in the housing market that is hitting the rest of the country.
2007 was a record year for apartment sales in New York City, sales jumped over 3 percent compared to 2006, selling about 18 days faster.
The number of apartments that sold for more than $10 million in 2007 tripled over those sold in 2006.
